Making time for your favourite time

Dearest,

How are you? Settled into a comfy chair with legs curled up and relaxed or standing and scrolling through the many things that are competing or your precious attention.

Wiggle your tongue side to side and then your jaw. Don't be surprised if a big yawn follows so enjoy taking in a deep breath or two.

What's your favourite time of the day - do you even have one? What is it about that time that you love?

I love early mornings. Listening to birdsong that dominates. The stillness and soft light. Nothing better than being alone with a cuppa and gently waking with nature. Even when I'm in a city, finding a place with aromatic coffee and delicious breakfast - watching the city come to life makes a working day more tolerable.

The sound of a lawn mower is breaking through the dawn chorus - someone can't be worried about their neighbours as it's 7am on a Sunday morning! That doesn't seem right to me - it feels like it is breaking the "good human" code of behaviour - what do you think?

With just over four weeks till Christmas, the odd behaviours we seem to adopt like overeating and overspending, can start sneaking in if we aren't conscious - here's your permission - you don't need to do any of it! If you are finding yourself getting stressed and worried - jump back into these posts to help you have a holiday season you can flourish in - being kind to yourself, loved ones and our world.

I hope you have a wonderful surprise this week - whether it's catching up with friends you haven't seen in a while, finding or receiving something special or being fully present in the moment as the sun sets on a beautiful day.

Take care dearest, of yourself, of others, of your thoughts, of your actions and of our wonderful world.

You are worthy - always
